about me! 

Through various forms of illustration and mediums, my work revolves around my childhood experiences growing up, being heavily influenced by the media and the culture that consumed my imagination and my reality. Even in non-traditional illustration mediums, like ceramics, I still aim to represent my passion for storytelling through vibrant and particular characteristics. 

 

My work explores the relationship between both my Middle Eastern culture, and the immigrant experience of moving to the United States at a very young age. With influence of both worlds and their intersecting individual backgrounds of ways of life, pop-culture, politics, and personal experience, I create work that represents my in between.
